Subscription Policy.
The Reader Circle subscription terms: what you receive, how to leave, and what we do with your email.
What the Reader Circle is
The Reader Circle is a free email subscription. It is not a paid service. There is nothing to cancel in the commercial sense — only to unsubscribe.
Joining the Reader Circle means receiving occasional emails from the author: new essays before public publication, book availability notices, translation updates and practical notes for parents. Nothing else.
Frequency
Emails are sent when there is something worth sending — typically once or twice a month during active writing periods, less frequently otherwise. We do not send weekly newsletters, automated sequences or promotional emails from third parties.
How to unsubscribe
- Every Reader Circle email contains an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click — no confirmation required.
- You can also request removal by contacting us through the connectivity page.
- Removal takes effect within 48 hours. You will not receive further emails after that.
Data and privacy
Your email address is stored in our email provider (MailerLite or equivalent). We record your locale and entry point at signup for translation planning. We do not share, sell or use your data for advertising. See the full Privacy Policy for details.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how the Reader Circle works, we will notify current subscribers by email before the change takes effect.
